putting the bs in age [Aug. 1st, 2005|08:21 pm]

[mood |goodgoodage]
[music |Belle And Sebastian]

its 8/1 and i've been writing 7/1 all day at work on the dc invoices rather annoying but yeah i'm listening to Belle & Sebastian and if you have never listened to them you shoudl because of their awesomeness-age. I have to thank Mel's sister Jo for B&S.
For those of you out there that need a liste of words ending in -age because they have a girlfriend who hates it when you put it on the end of words that shouldn't hava an -age suffix (and you know who you are DAN!!!) here is that list.

[music |Gorillaz]

eat edible underwear?
sniff doors?
bark down a tree?
sleep with a chicken?
hit a monkey?
fight a gorilla?
wank your manjangular?
parachute for a thirty story building naked?
eat a melon with a bug zapper?
smoke paper?
eat hair?
drink a concoction of unidentified things even though it looks like nuclear radiation or something?
be number one on your own not cool list?
set yourself on fire whether you mean to or not?

Our Monster Mutant Myrtle [Jun. 25th, 2005|08:10 pm]
theoddjournal
And while we journied, we left our monster mutant pet, Myrtle, with a neighbor to look after. At first this neighbor thought, "No sweat. It's a pet." It ain't no ordinary pet. It's...the Monster Mutant. So our neighbor called us up the first day and she was screaming. Ever see The Incredibles...with the baby? Yeah. It's like that. My monster mutant pet apparantely set the radio on fire because she was listening to Spanish music and not "the good stuff". A couple minutes later she calls back because our monster mutant was on the ceiling demanding food...let's just say it's like soylent green...except he likes dogs. Our neighbor didn't exactly know this. We left some frozen in the freezer but she overfed the cat and ran out...and now my mutant monster is out running about eating people's dogs because the neighbor let him out to go to the bathroom. I guess I must caution you all. We're not coming home for a while.

[music |Hotel AC unit]

Well on our quest to seek the holy grail we stumbled across a little bit of an obstacle. The water pump on our vessel died. So we are now somewhat starnded in the little town of winnemucca. A town so small that they only have two screens at their only theater. And a theater so small they only have one projector per screen which means if they have a long movie such as Batman Begins there is an intermission halfway throught the movie while they change reels. I have to say that was the first time i had ever been to a film that had an intermission. It was the talk of the town seeing as most of the people in the theater were from out of town and there was basically no one in the theater. But hopefully our vessel will be fixed by the mechanic so that we may be on our way to finish our quest.

On my Magical journey i ran across Suicidal Bunnies and Migrating Smashed Crickets. I did not heed the beckoning call of the Casinos for they only wanted to corrupt me but i did have to spend the night in a not so great hotel with stains on the chairs and sheets that want to eat me. Tommorow it is to the wrestling tournament where young men will strut their stuff and i will attepm to capture them with a camera.
